Born 1971 in Žilina, Slovakia. Resides and works in Brno, Czechia

Painting, for me, is not a means of depicting an idea, but a way of discovering what emerges through the process itself. I am interested in how something begins to take shape from a purely material process—something that our mind interprets as a space, a figure, or a landscape. The true subject of my work, therefore, is not the motif itself, but the experience of how the motif comes into being through perception.
